For all of you previous brides - did you do coolers????

Recommended Posts

Ok ladies,

Has anyone gotten married and used the collapsible coolers as your OOT bag? My FI loves the idea of the cooler, and I think it's adorable, but I'm having issues putting our name on it, if we're really spending the $$ for our guests, I want them to use it in the future. We already have koozies w/ our names, so I think this is overkill.

Any thoughts?

Did you do coolers, and did your guests use them, or do they use them now?

HELP!

i wish i would have thought about it - i totally would have done this! but then i would have skipped the koozies. but anyway - i know someone on here did this - and she had them personalized. what about just getting a monogram/logo with just the location and date, and maybe your names in smaller print if you want - that's what i did (and a lot of us) for the OOT bags, since we didn't want our names plastered all over something they may want to use again.

Yeah, Ann I hear ya. I'm totally not into having our names on everything. The koozies are really cute, but for a cooler, I would prefer that our guests like it enough to reuse.

FI thinks that if we do our coral on it with Los Cabos or something, that it looks like a generic cooler from Cabo, like a tshirt or something you can pick up at the shops.

I know Melissa did some and they were darling, so who knows what we'll end up with.

Oh well. I'll keep yall posted on who wins this one!

That is such a good idea! I love the cooler idea. I think just the place and the date would be nice on the bag.

Where did you purchase your coolers? I have 65 guests so I wouldn't want to spend a fortune on them but I really like this idea. Any suggustions to where I could get some cheap ones?

I didn't do coolers but I know of someone who did and didn't put their names on it, just a very generic tropical type picture and the name of the location (island). I thought it was a super cute idea and if i got someting like that, I would totally save and reuse it in the future.

The company I work for takes us on a sales trip every year and I get such great ideas from their welcome bags. Everything they give us has our company logo as well as the location and year. For Maui we got the coolers with an attached bottle opener stuffed with flip flops, long sleeved t's (to wear to the welcome bonfire), beach towels, sunscreen, sunglass cases and the itinerary.

I use everything all the time regardless of what it says on it. The cooler is so handy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
