2011 & 2012 PLAYACAR PALACE BRIDES!!!!!!

Hello ladies,

Before anything big THANKS to everyone who nicely, kindly and thoughfully has published helpful tips, ideas and information for all of us...

Believe it or not I just booked my wedding for December 11, 2011, I know last minute crazy but long story which may tell you after my wedding writing my reviews for all of you... but for now I am in panic and have LOTS of questions:

- How much does it cost the make-up and hair do for the bride? was it good quality and satisfactory?

- How much does it cost the mani and pedicure? was it good quality and satisfactory?

- For the semi-private dinner, is that limited to only the mexican or the italian restaurant? can I bring my own deco to make it more special at dinner time?

- What would be your choice for a private function to get a nice view or terrace feeling?

- Does the resort has a night club for dancing inside to be able to continue once the dinner is finished?

- Someone knows what the "Pictures Package A" contains? someone knows how good is the work of the resort's photographer?

- I saw in the pics of Tanya beautiful star fishes/sea stars deco on the chairs of the ceremony at the beach, where did you get them? did the hotel facilitate them to you?

- I am looking to get the AMBER package but regarding the bride's bouquet, I am not thrilled about the flowers of the package, is there a chance to negotiate about the flowers and color of them? I am looking to have the orange as the color theme of my wedding and would like my bouquet to be made of orange lillies and roses...

My case is a bit different because I asked to speak to a supervisor as Janina who was suppose to be handling things had been away a lot.  I was getting frustrated so I said to them that I needed this put in my contract right away or I would take my business elsewhere.  I spoke to Gretal and she got on it but also passed it on to another wedding coordinator to actually draw up the contract.  At first they said it would have to wait until Janina got back on October 31st but when I put my foot down, she said she would send it off in 5 minutes!!!

Gotta love it huh?!

Hi Ladies!

So today marks the day we get the ball rolling!  We are flying Westjet out of Toronto, and it has been dramarama getting it organized. 

 

I'm so excited and was reading that they are adding turquoise as one of the new package colours?  That's fantastic!

 

 

Our wedding is slated for 10.10.12.

I can totally relate!!!  I tried the package idea at first and that was so stressful that I abandoned the idea.  We are just doing a room block now and everyone can sort out their own airfare!  Good for you for getting that organized.  Congratulations too!

I am excited to say we have officially booked Photos in Cancun for Photography and DJ Doremixx for recepton DJ! Excited, as there have been a lot of great reviews on here about both!

 

We also finalized our contract with hotel and room blocks...moving forward! Save the dates go out this week and should have website finalized with travel info. I'll let you guys know when it is all up so you can look and use any info from there that you need!

Hello Ladies!

 

Just wondering if anyone knows who the inhouse DJ for playacar palace is?  I am looking at a few options but not sure on prices as I have to factor in the outside vendor fees.

What is the price for Doremixx? I am also interested in Dj mannia but not sure which to use.  Are those approved vendors?  I would prefer not to have to pay an extra fee but I also want a good dj.

If anyone has info on this, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
