3) Is there a more secluded beach ceremony where there won't be many people walking by the ceremony? At 4:00pm is the latest time we attend ceremonies; sometimes we try to move the people for 30 minutes that the ceremony takes; however, as you may know this is a public area, so I think you will have some people walking but not many.

4) Does del Sol consider as outside photographer? Do you have the approved vendor list? In case you are interested in pictures and video services, I recommend you to get in contact with Janeth from Smile Market, the company which works for us at: wedding3@palaceresortsweddingphotos.com ; “Del Sol†and “La Luna†photographers are the outside photographers who can take pictures at the Resort with a day pass which is 91usd per person per day; these are the only ones who are allowed to come to the Resort as an outside photographer.

5) Could you send me pictures of the flowers included in the complimentary package? The flowers that are included are roses; I’m still waiting for a response to know which other kind of flowers does this package include; as soon as I know, I’ll let you know.

 

I'm still waiting to hear back from Miami office regarding the wedding date and contract.  Will keep you posted regarding the communications between the wedding coordinator.

About the lanterns, how are you planning on setting those up?  Does PP provide you with a large pole type thing to string them on?

Just curious because I am looking at hiring someone for lighting.

We have about 30 guests, but 18 of those are family members or are in the wedding party - and since it is everyone's vacation, we were thinking of doing it with the family members/wedding party only. Are people planning this at the resort or a place outside on 5th Avenue? We were hoping to find a decently priced place along 5th Avenue to encourage everyone to get out and about a little... any recommendations/suggestions would be great!

Hi Kristyn! I just sent you a friend request to see your pictures-- My name is Joleen-- just so you don't wonder about the strange person requesting a friend add on FB! We get married at PP on 9/1 and will be hiring a professional photographer (outside of the resort). We havent jumped that hurdle of approval from them yet with an outside vendor, but I'm curious to see the work your photographer did. Its difficult to really know who is good, just by looking at a website alone. I'll have to go back and read the earlier posts for who you had taking your pictures... I'm excited for you guys that you are happy with the results-- it's such a huge & important part of the big day!! Thank you for sharing

Ladies, don't discount the idea of bringing flowers down with you!  It saved us a TON of money and no one believed that they weren't real and they look even more real in the pictures.  The woman I used was very affordable.  Pictures of the bouquet are in the blog http://www.jennycastrophotography.com/blog/?p=554  and the woman's site is http://www.weddingwire.com/biz/simply-classic-creations-noblesville/website/1ee97e2791be8445.html

Regarding the lanterns, I'm planning to buy a bunch from Hong Kong or China and hang them from tree to tree without the pole. Here is the reply from Wilma:
