I am a little nervous that this may take away from the brides day knowing that two other weddings r happening. Any brides out there who married here, did u have issues with this? Once again, Congrats and happy planning!!

HI Ladies,

I was married on 10/10/10 the Miami office told me the SAME thing, and i DID NOT see 1 other bride, groom, wedding, wedding flower NOTHING...(on the same day as mine)  I was only AFTER the reception was over and we took the party to the bar that I saw the "other" bride.  SO in my opinion, I wouldnt worry about it.

Thanks for letting us know Tanya!  Yea, I would think with a gap of two hours that it shouldn't be too much of a problem.  Especially because depending on when you are getting married, sunset is quite early so they won't do weddings after a certain time - and who wants to get married at 11 am?  My wedding is 1-6-12 (*gasp!* 11 months away tomorrow!) and the last wedding that they will do on that day is 4 pm, which is the slot I reserved.  That means that the 4 pm & the 3 pm slot are filled, so anyone else getting married that day would have to do a 2 pm or 11 am.  I'm not too concerned :)

Welcome!  I didn't really do too much digging into Beach Palace as my FI couldn't get past his vision of Cancun (as much as I tried!).  PP is absolutely family friendly (I have 2 six year olds and 1 eight year old so that was a non-negotiable).  I also really liked how small the hotel is (only 205 rooms) and the fact the it was directly on 5th Avenue so we could leave the resort and walk around town.  Make a list of what's important to you and then see how each of them match up!

Thx Tanya for your response, I have been a little worried about the wedding factory quality that I have read about the palace hotels. Did you have a problem with booking all your guest there since there r only 208 rms? I have been told there aren't anymore of the deluxe reg. rooms  left. Ugh and I wanted it to be more affordable, oh well! Thx again for all the posts. Congrats to all!!!

We are planning a day trip to conzumel for some sight seeing but mostly diving, we are also spending at least a day at Xcaret, and visiting the Ruins, the area is so diverse with so many interestig things to do I am very certain we will spend more time away from the hotel in it than in it.  Becuase of all the places we want to visit we actually decided to make our stay for the wedding two weeks instead of 1.

Thanks! Neither of us have ever been to that side of Mexico so we are so excited to go! I just wish I could decide on a resort and stop stressing! Does PP have a nice beach?

The resort is beautiful, the people are amazing, the food/drinks are great, the location is by far the best.  Keep in mind, that if you chose the PP you or your guests that want a bigger resort feel can take day trips to the other resorts.  I chose PP bc I had ages from 4 months to 60+  and the options at the PP were amazing, they can go to Cozumel, 5th ave, and the younger partiers can go to Cancun.  We had no complaints what so ever from anyone!

Hey ladies! I've been over on the 2010 thread, didn't know there was one on here for 2011! I'm getting married at PP on May 7th, 2011. We've got around 20 people booked to go, might get up around 25 or so. I'm so excited and ready to be in Mexico. I hear so many great things about this resort I have no doubts we picked the right one!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
