I don't really think her prices are bad at all. I got my paperwork from my resort and they were quoting $230.00 p.p. at my resort spa for hair & makeup.. CRAZYYY I think... For 11 people that would of been $2530.00. She sent me my invoice and everything is $1450.00. Way less than my resort... And she is going to come to my room. How can you beat that?!?!? And it is airbrush rather than the resort is actual makeup.

I second that!  Even with travel cost and day passes, Rashel and her hair stylist were way cheaper!  So happy I went with her!

My makeup lasted all night....my hair lasted even longer....I had a million pins in my hair.  Rashel was early...came to my room...answered all of my mother's nagging questions.

Eyelashes were perfect.

Then on my TTD session she even had to strap me back in my dress..which she did with no problem mon....:)

She covered up my tattoo on my back..

SHE IS GREAT

I used Rashel for my makeup (and her co-worker for hair) after the woman I originally booked (Loni Jones) cancelled last minute. SHE WAS AMAZING!!! You could not ask for a better, more professional or more highly skilled makeup artist than Rashel. My makeup lasted all night and we partied - HARD!! It lasted through the next day and the TTD despite the fact that I got completely soaked. Rashel did an incredible job for me, my MOH, mom and aunt. I emailed her some photos of the look I was going for and she did it masterfully. Everyone was happy and thought our hair in JA was even better than what we got in NY for the AHR. Trust me and go with Rashel, et al.!!!!!

Is Rashel Edwards the only MUA in Jamaica?!  She's booked on my wedding day and I can only seem to find posts about Rashel Edwards.

Does anyone know anything about Peter-Gaye Rose (female) MUA in Jamaica?  Or any other suggestions for airbrush MUAs in Jamaica.  I'm so frustrated right now.  My wedding isn't for 6 months so I thought I had time to book.  Now the only MUA with any sort of rep on this site is booked. angry.gif

I used Rashel for my make up and she was 30 minutes late on the wedding day. She had three weddings that day and I was her second. She didn't apologize for being late. While she did my younger sister's make up she was texting. Our wedding had to start later because of this. So if your using her make sure you ask if she has any other weddings planned that day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
