I'm so glad that I stumbled across this thread! I had assumed that my only real option was the spa at the resort!  Great find!  Can someone comment on pricing?  Is it comparable to the resort spas?  With the additional cost of a day pass, I just want to ensure that it isn't way over my budget before I contact her!

i think the price is very reasonable especialy since it is airbrush and i love how she is able to work with your budget as best as possible. there is also a thread on wedding bee with pics and reviews about her. im loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! both the hair and the makeup look fantastic.i love how the makeup is natural yet still nice

Hello ladies!

Iâ€m back and married! I included Rashel in my full review of our wedding but thought Rashel deserved another shout on here because sheâ€s just that good! I found Rashel through this thread so I hope this really helps someone who is considering makeup artist options. Our photographers blogged us today and I happily included the pictures that showed off her handiwork.

Rashel applied airbrush makeup for our moms, my four bridesmaids, maid of honor, good friend, and myself for our wedding at Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril. Airbrush seemed like the only way to go to me when dealing with nerves and the brutal Jamaica sun.The airbrush looked natural, felt lightweight and best of all, lasted. We ate, drank, and danced the night away and looked great the entire time. I seriously considered going to be fully made up because I didnâ€t want to wash any of it off.

I also had Sherna, Rashelâ€s hair stylist, do my hair. In no time, Sherna gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I explained the look I was going for, showed her a picture and had to do or say nothing more. She did an awesome job as well and the two ladies stayed with us until after everyone got dressed in case anyone needed touching up.  These two really cared and we loved them for it!

If youâ€re on the fence, go ahead and book her. I'm sure youâ€ll be as glad that you did as I am that I did :).

wow i just recently got married in Jamaica I did not realize Rashel was so popular there. I decided to use Rashel at the very last minute ( the day before my wedding). I was at my resort when i saw the makeup she did for another bride i was impressed and so i decided to ask her to stay over in Montego bay to do my makeup. i have a few acne scaring on my face and i wanted to look flawless on my big day and i did not know if the spa could have done the job i wanted. i had a specific look in mind for myself but rashel advised me to do otherwise and i took her advice. IT WAS THE BEST MAKEUP I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Because of my acne scaring i get my makeup done professionally a lot in the states Mac airbrush makeup, etc i know aot of (airbrush)makeup artist. the difference between Rashel's makeup and theirs is that while their's may look good hers looks good and NATURAL. IT doesn't have that fake cakey look at all. Although i had to pay for her to stay over at a near by villa plus pay for my makeup i had to give her a huge tip for doing such a good job on my face and the makeup LASTED ALL DAY from 3:00pm straight back to 4:00am when i washed off my face..... her work is soft and just really really good I strongly recommend her. and i will post pictures as soon as i can.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
