$250 is crazy. I am a professional photographer and I work with make up artist in md,dc,and va and that amount is to much for a wedding. If she is a celebrity make up artist then that may be why she charges so much. $125 is a good price that I know is quoted in the states.

Thanks and happy new year to you all!

The last time I was in Jamaica, it was so hot that I never wore make-up. If you had a beach wedding, is it comfortable wearing make-up and does it look natural? I wasn't even thinking of wearing any make-up for wedding...just sunblock and some lipstick. Hmmm...

For those brides that will be in Jamaica during the winter 2012 and are still looking for hair and makeup

Krystie ann is amazing!!!!!!

She just did the makeup and hair for my friend the end of last month at the RIU ocho rios and she was amazing! the girls looked fantastic and she was really professional and really nice.

I believe she is booking weddings for january 2012 - April 2012 for bridal parties and her rates are very reasonable!

makeup@krystieann.com is her email address.

I got married at the Iberostar Rose Halll Suites and got my makeup done by Rashel from Chasity Artistry and my hair done by her assistant Fiona. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them. Thank you Rashel and Fiona.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
