    I'm based in Spanish Town (where I grew up), but have been to Oracabessa, Ocho Rios, and Kingston. Still have Mandeville and Negril to go to. A lot of it is visiting family all over the island.

      Oh I so wish I had family in Jamaica! I'd go like 5 times a year, lol!

          Hey ladies!

           

          Can't believe I'm just seeing this. Here's our buffet style Jamaican menu:

           

          Appetizers: Grilled Shrimp, Jerk Chicken Wings, Conch Fritters, and Ackee Canapes  

          Soup: Jamaican Pepper Pot  

          Salads: Pasta Salad and Garden Salad  

          EntrĀ©es: Escoveitched Snapper, Jerk Chicken, and Curried Goat

          Side Dishes: Rice & Peas and Steamed Vegetables  

          Dessert: Chocolate Fondue Fountain, Ice Cream, and of course Wedding Cake

              I'm hungry too, lol. I'm such a foodie and I'm probably most excited about what we're going to eat while in JA. FI's family is Jamaican and I fell in love with the food a long time ago.

                I know that's the menu for MDC, as my sis is looking to get married there! The food should be awesome. Ackee canapes sound yummy!
