    Hi Everyone!

This song came up yesterday on FI's ipod and I thought it'd be awesome if we could have our first dance to a song that has both english and spanish lyrics since FI's family is Cuban and many don't speak a word of english.

Paul Anka and Jose Jose - Let me get to know you

If anyone knows any others, please share!

One of my potential songs is 'Dream a little dream of me' and FI has a spanish version of that song on his ipod too.. I'd love to find one that is half and half though.

Here's another one, more upbeat. ^^

DJ Flex Ft. Belinda - Te Quiero

This song was pretty popular last time I was down for last Chrismas.

For our first dance, we are using Prince Royce's version of Stand By Me. It's in English and Spanish, perfect for us because my parents don't speak English nor do some of my guests, his family doesn't speak Spanish, and this version of the song is a bachata-which is a typical Dominican dance...thats where my family is from snd we're getting married in Punta Cana!

Myriam Hernandez recorded "Tu Cabeza En Mi Hombro," a bilingual remake of Paul Anka's classic "Put Your Head on My Shoulder."  http://thespanishver...com/page35.html

Miriam Hernandez recorded "Tu Hombro En Mi Cabeza" a bilingual remake of Paul Anka's "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." The website thespanishversion.com has a bunch of other bilingual songs that might give you some good ideas.

We have chosen I Will Always Love you by Tito Nieves...love this song! We arent the traditional slow dance kind of couple. But it does have a small intro that allows for a bit slow dance that is the more traditional aspect  then it goes into a Salsa. Stand by me is a good choice too =)
