Love Van Morrison. We'll probably have Crazy Love or Into the Mystic, if not as our first dance, on the playlist.

 

Gavin DeGraw also has a great song "More than Anyone" I think it's called. That's another option for us.

I posted this somewhere else, but I recently made a CD of love songs with some more alternative love songs. Maybe some of these would work. They aren't all for dancing. I agree- no nickleback!!

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I loved all the songs suggested.

 

Last night was fun me and FH had a blast listening to the songs and figuring out which is an us type song. We're going to use all the suggestions (LOL) and make a CD to play during the cocktail hour and dinner.... FH thought of that!

 

AND... we came to a tough decision. OUr first dance song is between 3:

Lifehouse- You and me (stripped version) this song has some attachments to us because we saw them in concert a couple years back. I loev this song!

David Gray- This years love: something about this song just gives me goosebumps, don't know what it is. But almost every time I get emotional listening to it.

 

OR

Tim McGraw/Faith Hill: It's your love - I know it wasn't suggested but FH suggested it and I was in shock because it's country. I know it's unoriginal but the lyrics are perfect for a wedding and it's only 3 minutes 30 seconds! haha
