kya101,

Thanks a bunch...but know that it is never too late and if you are like me (on a budget) know that you will have a life time of taking photos with your hubby ;-)

It really was a wonderful day! And kya101, I would advise you to check out any sort of Groupon or Living Social program in your area. There's even a daily deal from Wedding Channel. A LOT of those coupons end up being photography sessions, so if you keep track, you could end up finding a way to get them done for less than $100!

For me, my fiance and I are just so forgetful of taking pictures, so we only had maybe 3 good pictures of the 2 of us together. We really wanted to take some special pictures to commemorate the occasion.

In other news, we have 4 hotel rooms booked for our wedding! Woo hoo! I know it's silly, but that's what makes me feel like this is actually happening :)

Thank you for the awesome advice, the really hard thing about photos for us is where we live. We live way up north at the end of the highway in a very small town that doesn't have a lot to offer and what it does is $$$ in this town. We have thought about getting them done in the city when we go, but we never have time :( We do have a family friend who is "playng" around thinking about doing the photographer thing so we were thinking about asking her for fun. Wait and see I guess. We are so the same in forgetting about pics of us, we have great pics of all our friends and family, but none of us. I'm more of the behind the camera girl :P  Thanks again though!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
