Hi! We were planning on having both the wedding and the reception on the beach, but I just came across a video on Azul Fives FB page of a couple who had their ceremony on the beach and their reception where the "garden gazebo" is. The reception looked really cool. So...now we're debating upon doing that. Where are you planning on having your wedding and reception?

So excited to have azul brides to talk to! We are going to be married there dec 1 of 2012.  I haven't made exact plans yet and I'm wondering if anyone has any helpful tips for booking the reception area.

First I don't know how many people are going to attend yet- did you wait for RSVPs to finalize the reception plans? I'm thinking beach BBQ, does anyone have a review on a beach BBQ reception?

Also! Anyone know the cost of the "extras" I've been asking for the information (price of dance floor extra flowers etc) and still have not received the information. If anyone has that info I'd be so thankful for it!

Lastly, for cocktail hour- I heard brides do the "zky terrace" but not "officially" people just congegated there on their own. So that may save you a couple of bucks.

Hello bmajeske!

To look at the prices of extras Karisma properties use Lomas. I think the website is lomas-weddings.com Under planning you will find prices from everything from napkins to centerpieces. It is all there. I received a complimentary cocktail party through my travel agent and because of that I am having an "offical" cocktail hour at the zky terrace. I'm not sure how it works if you do not have an official one. From what I understand it doesn't open until night time and because of that might not be open depending on what time your ceremony is. As for the reception I know we are doing the seated filet mignot dinner. I have assumed that 50 people would be coming, but just estimating. Our final payment is due april 25th so I am asking people to be booked by April 15th so that I will know how many dinners to order. Let me know any other questions that you have.

Hi Everyone! We had our wedding at Azul Fives on May 27, 2012 and it was perfect! I'll write a full review in a few days and post all of the pictures, but in the meantime, if anyone has any question, please don't hesitate to ask! We had 60 guests staying there for our wedding, and everyone was absolutely thrilled with our choice of venue! If you are considering Azul Fives as a wedding venue, I give it 5 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone!

  • Beachfron Candlelight Dinner

or you can give to someone else in the group that books through Wright Travel.

We only have a limited amount of certificates so this is a limited time offer while certificates last so contact us to get your upgrade!

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
