I just ordered my earrings and bracelet for the ceremony from Bella Bleu.  I'm not much for jewelry so this took me forever to pick out but I think it works perfect.  Simple and classic.  What is everyone else wearing??? Earrings.jpg Bracelet.jpg
Beautiful!

Looking for some advice... This is me in my dress and im trying to decide what kind of jewelry to wear. 400 Im not a pearls kind of girl... Necklace no necklace? I love big crazy things like colourful anything and big chunky stuff. I still want to look like me. Im also wearing my hair down so i seriously considered not wearing any earrings at all
I think a necklace would take away from your dress. I would just wear some nice teardrop earrings.

I'm with you! I always wear big dangly earrings, and it's become a signature for me.  I was having a really hard time deciding on jewelry just by searching the internet (etsy addict here!) I got lucky and went to an accessories trunk show at the bridal shop that is doing my alterations. So I got to try on jewelry with my dress which helped a ton with the decision. I was a wee bit sad to find that I didn't like the big dangly earrings with my dress. I still got some dangly, they just aren't as big as I thought they would be (I hoped for some nice chandeliers!).  anyway - here's my jewelry:  my necklace is pretty small, and the bracelet is chunky and totally bling! I also have a headband that matches the bracelet (part of the reason the huge earrings & necklace didn't happen). I can't say I'm in love with the necklace (even now), but it really did work with the dress and the other pieces. The first three came from the bridal shop (with 20% off due to the trunk show!), the prices were very comparable to etsy and some of the other sites I've seen.  jewelry1.jpg a close up of the earrings:  jewelry3.jpg and here's the headpiece I got: I found it a long time ago and drooled over it until I figured out the rest of my jewelry. it's from etsy seller ChantalEveleen.  il_570xN.189457405.jpg

The headpiece is gorgeous!

I went on a field trip to Nordtrom last night and finalized my jewelry selection for the big day! They're super sparkly and I love both pieces.  And even better, I'll be able to reuse these items for future holiday/formal events.    LL LL

Hey all! I'm wearing a one shoulder and going without a necklace, since the strap is beaded and sparkly. I'm going for big earrings, hair jewelry, and a bracelet. Here's my earrings and hair comb: IMG_0125.JPG IMG_0038.JPG
Those earrings are absolutely gorgeous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
