Hey knitgirl13,

You could always do a custom design of shell/mother of pearl & crystal jewels instead of pearls...just a suggestion :)

I'm so impressed with my jewelry I have to add to this thread!  I bought my necklace and earrings from Momma Goddess Treasures on Etsy.  Trudy is an absolute DREAM to deal with!  I wanted something to match my shoes for the wedding, and my necklace matches PERFECTLY!  It was a great price, and it is absolutely gorgeous!  I had some trouble when it came to shipping, but it totally wasn't her fault (she's in the US, USPS told her that a Canadian postal code wasn't necessary so she left it off the package, it passed customs but couldn't go any further into Canada without a postal code and got returned to her, so she sent it to me express post <3 ).

Here is a picture of my necklace, earrings and shoes (to see how they match):

I don't really do pearls, but these are gorgeous.  They look a little dull in the picture, but in real life they're really shiny.  I'm SO happy, I'd recommend her to anyone!  And she totally customized it for me based on one of her designs (different colours, different length, more pearls).  If you're looking for jewelry, especially if you're not a "pearl" person, then look her up.  She's amazing :)

I am still thinking about the jewelries. The dress have middle length sleeve and high collar. My neck will not exposs a lot. I also think it will be to ornamented if I wear a necklace together with the dress. What's more, i don't have piercing, so i cannot wear earings too.

Hi ladies,

I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion ... I'm trying to decide if I should wear a necklace with my dress,or just some earings and bracelet. My dress is lace and has beading on it, I am attaching  a picture but please keep in mind I will be changing the neckline to sweetheart.

What are your thoughts? On a daily basis I wear a chain with a pendant and never wear earings;I always have a couple of rings on - I'm pretty simple. I don't know what to do!! Will a necklace take away from my dress?

THANKS!!

If you want to have a necklace you should go with something simple. I have beading on top of my dress too and I opted for a neckalce that has single pearl and a bead. Also it depends if you want your hair up or down. If you want your hair down, you can skip the whole necklace thing. I hope it helps :D Good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
