Beaches ~ Turks & Caicos Roll Call!

@mjeans08    Thanks for your post! My fiance and I are getting married at Beaches in May 2015, and we're estimating a similar sized party (~70-80 ppl). For the small restaurant that they ended up closing down early for you, where was it located and was it an extra cost?

Do you have any other suggestions for a large party?

Thanks so much in advance!!!

Hello,

I am getting married at Beaches in May 2015 also. We are expecting about the same size party as well. If you book a specific number of rooms, various "options" are included. For example, if you book 11 rooms you get a free cocktail hour and if you book more than 20 rooms you get a free 2 hour reception. I did not look into have one of the restaurants close down but that is not a bad option to look into. If you have anymore questions, feel free to contact me.

Does anyone have any insight on paying for an open bar? We have 24 people and im just not sure if we should pay the extra when its an all inclusive hotel. Are the reception areas close to a bar thats already there?

@@Linz1131...time IS flying! It seemed so far away and now that it is October and I have my travel schedule for the next six weeks it is going to fly by! I think I'm ready....just working on the OOT bags now and I need to get my dress fitted.

The Splendid Dinner ($45/pp) included two hours of open bar with the bar right at the area you choose for the dinner. The Exquisite Dinner ($60/pp) is three hours. I can copy and paste the info later or email it to you. It won't copy and paste from my iPad for some reason. Edited by megthomson

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
