Hey ladies....I am getting married down there on May 10, 2014.

Our trip was supposed to be May 11th - May 18th but we were just notified by our travel agent this week that our Sunday flight has been cancelled! They are moving us all to the flight departing May 10th. Pretty bummed about it but hey maybe I'll get to catch a glimpse of your wedding :)

@@novangel congrats to you..turkey day will be a change from normal turkey to enjoy. .mine will be short and simple too..did you go over the packet she sent and the site? Are you doing a theme or just BB package?

 

We're doing the BB package but probably upgrading the photography, we want more than just one picture.

 

I never received a package or a site link, was I supposed to get that before the phone call?? :/ I'm scheduled to get a call from her this Saturday...

 

I know this is slightly off topic but is anyone else here a nervous wreck about flying? I haven't flown since 1995 so I am a little anxious about it. Off to look at dresses on Pinterest. :)

Oh okay. I got the link before our call. It was an email with the required documents needed and off file of the wedding packages menus etc. Did you get?

 

No. :wacko:  I guess I will find out the deal when I talk to her in 3 days. We have 8 months so I guess I won't panic...

Yes, we used a TA.

 

Everything is all set including flights..I hate that we can't fly there direct, that's my only hang up. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for my call at noon.. :D

Anyone know about the theme nights? I've heard there are "beach parties" on Friday (which will be my after party, I guess!) but there are things other night too like a "White Party". I'm already stressed about packing right months from now!!!

@@Meg Thompson are you adding any extras to the BB? Since all of our guests have cancelled and it will be just us and the children we are trying to decide now if we should still do a seaside serenade theme since it has pics and video..or just do BB and pay for separate photos. Are you using beaches photos?

Sorry! Just catching up. We are adding a few extras to the BB and I'm bringing a friend down who is a wedding photographer by trade. We are thinking about doing one of the video places that uses guest's cell photo videos and pieces together to a song. $99!

Yes!!! Thank God everything has came together in the "ninth hour". Things have been hectic, but everything has came together this week.

We actually leave Saturday so just a day away basically. My mom is really excited. I have my items for my OOT bags and my bouquets are ready. I have had my clothes packed a while, but I will have to rearrange my bags so I can fit my shoes and some other things.

 

I am looking forward to it

I will let you all know about any theme nights we experience on our trip.

Also we found a great bluetooth radio with loud speakers that we also used for our wedding shower at MicroCenter so we are taking that with us to use for reception instead of DJ.  We made a playlist and are ready to party!!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
