Yes we are so close....I have a few finishing touches that I need to do for the reception down there but otherwise we are ready. We are getting married at 5:00 on the beach so hopefully you can sneak a peak. The reception will follow at 7:30 on the beach as well.

Cool. I will be at the hotel by 2pm. I will take a peak. I am getting married on the 14th.... which theme did you choose?

How many guests do you have?

How many guests do you have?

We will still be there on the 14th so I will have to take a peak too. We have 26 guest coming and I didn't choose a theme I just made up my own. I am making our flowers up here and we aren't doing much for decorations on the beach I figured the ocena would be pretty enough. For the reception we are just doing 2 hours of hor derves andhaving a fire on the beach with tiki torches, DJ and a firedancer. What package did you guys choose??? What time is the wedding?? Are you having a sit down reception???

Mine is at 3pm and we are still finalizing the reception .. we want a sit down dinner. We are customizing our wedding.

@@nsmith439 are you just getting tables set up on the beach? I was leaning towards reception on the beach as well but Roxy mentioned it may be too windy. I'm wondering if that just had to do with the my timeframe.

 

@@SV2014 that sounds wonderful! I like the idea of incorporating the other entertainment options to make it more unique and tropical. We are looking into the steel pan at this point but wish we could hear a sample of what it will sound like.

Is anyone having guests staying at other hotels? Trying to figure out how to word the reception card going with the invite. It's $420 normally for a day pass from 10am-2am but day of wedding it's $135 (I think only if you do the signature dinner so don't quote me if you're not having the dinner!). I don't want to pick up that cost but it's awkward to collect that money before people go because it has to be prepaid. Any suggestions, ladies?

I have two guests that are not booked with Beaches... I am planing to have the 3 hour reception so the day pass will waved.

It's only waived for one hour before ceremony and then they have to leave right after reception so only really a half day pass. I'd like guests to have flexibility of time before wedding and then way after reception since we plan to carry the party on way after the three hours!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
