Beaches ~ Turks & Caicos Roll Call!

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I'm torn between Beaches and Sands at Grace Bay but ceremony will be Turks in November 2014. I need a TA stat!

Glad I found this site. :)

Oh, this is 2nd marriage for both of us so there probably won't be more than 3 guests. Small and intimate. No reception with DJ, just cake, casual dinner and some photos. I will do my own hair and makeup since I'm a cosmetologist..

I will be 40 and he will be 41 so we're a bit older. ;)

I have asked Roxi about what brand ipod is in rooms or used, but she never responded back.

I have not heard about them being free so that may be new. I think others have said they are $150 per hour, which you could buy your own for that price.

There is a facebook page called "Beaches Turks and Caicos". On that page there is a commonly mentioned travel agent named Mark Brown. I believe him and his wife Ann Brown are both travel agents.  He is a certified Sandals and Beaches travel agent and appears to be very knowledgable.  There are also people that have mentioned travel agents on here. You probably would have to do a keyword search.

you guys are already booked and having conference calls for May 2014? I'm behind then if I go with them for APril 2014. my TA said I didn't need to worry about booking anything until June ??

Our wedding is 12/5 and I have my call with Roxy at the end of this month. I don't necessarily think you're late - they scheduled it in when we got our date. Don't stress!

@blakdeeva I went through the entire forum and just wrote down a ton of questions for Roxy as well as helpful tips/activities/general hotel info. We are looking into just doing a cocktail hour or two for our reception, no dinner at this point. I am waiting on final count of people to decide exactly what will be best option for our group. I can email you my list of questions to you if that helps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
