Mine is at noon so I'm in the same boat.. Not planning to have it on the beach so hopefully there are some nicely shaded locations to choose from. :)

Hi All Just back from our wedding last week. Patricia was our wedding planner on site and she was fabulous everything we discussed was done. Be prepared for them to try to sell you additional things (lighting, candles, torches, etc) the photography experience was horrendous.. we had Patrick he was great the pictures came out good (i would compare them to cruise photos they don't have camera equipment like a wedding photographer would use) however Patrick got some really nice shots... the part we had a problem with was we had to spend about 2-3 hours picking out our photos we wanted while we were there. If we had time to go home and look at them we probably would have picked out more but since we were rushed we took what our package gave us. If I had to do it all over again I would have had a real wedding photographer, the pictures would have been even nicer and u wouldn't waste time on your vacation picking out photos. We had the steel pan for cocktail hour and then a dj for 3 hours they were both great!!!! Other than that everyone at the resort was nice, food was great! My other complaint is it's "very corporate" and I don't think they let their employees think out of the box, so a few times it was rather annoying.

Hi Danir11, We used Beaches Photo n Video. We also used Brilliant for a TTD session. We received both photo packages with no problem. Its the video footage Beaches is claiming that was lost :( OMG ur marriage license still has not come in? What are they saying about that? I LOVE Beaches T&C Resort but if I wrote a review on our "wedding" experience, It would scare away all the brides to be!

Hi Rachel Yes I agree with you . They keep saying every week that they will be getting it since October . They sent mine out already back in August but it was incorrect and it has taken this long to fix and I still haven't received it. It is ridiculous . I can't believe they lost your video .

I know another bride who's certificate was incorrect. So sad. Hope you receive your correct certificate soon!

I am also bringing my own photographer to the resort. What license are you referring to? As long as they are staying on the resort and are a part of your wedding group, there is no license requirement that I am aware of. I have spoken to Roxi about this and she has confirmed that nothing is needed. The day of you just inform the resort that you will not need a photographer for the wedding ceremony, although they will probably show up anyway. You've been warned!

Hello brides!! I am getting married at Beaches in Turks on 11-12-13!!! I have my conference call with the planner next month. So of course now I have alot of questions and I am trying not to freak out. So since I am having a big group I will get the beauftiful beginings wedding theme included in my package. But my wedding colors are fuchsia and tangerine. Does anyone know anything like if they would change the colors for me or what? And I guess charge me for the difference? I know the bouquet for the beautiful beginings theme the flowers are magenta. That does not and could not go for my wedding. And I really dont wanna have to do fake ones..but I am not paying these crazy amount of $ of the bouquets Beaches offers if they will not work with me. Also anyone just having a cocktail reception? I don't want to spend the $ per person for some fancy sit down dinner when its not what we want. But I don't really know how it works? Like if we want to have our first dance & dance with our parents. Anyone know? Thanks girls! :)

I was talking about the wedding licence that the other brides were talking about! What theme are you using? Are you having a sit down reception?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
