Recommended Posts

We havent gotten our link yet, they said no later than this afternoon. I can't wait to view it. I'm glad to hear you like yours. :)

Sophia, don't stress about the photography now. Its really not bad, but just make sure you have them explain to you when you are to view them.

I brought my dress on the plane, and they hung it for me in the closet. Im sure it wont be a problem, they just cant promise you anything ahead of time. :)

Sophia,

Every airline is different, I flew US Air and they were really nice the first flight had a closet and they let me stick it in there however the second flight was willing to put it in a closet if they actually had one, so I had to put it in the overhead which is fine as long as you watch it, I had some idiot shove something right on top of me dress!!

Yes there is the option to have your dress steamed its $80 and steaming it will not shrink it.

Melissa, we put our deposit down with TI a year before our wedding, I wanted to make sure we got her specifically so we booked her right away

We went with the seaside serenade theme which comes with 12 free photos and a free DVD right now

Thanks

Just to chime in, we don't hold dates for anyone until a deposit is paid.  It's first deposit come first booked.  I know we had a bride here a while back that thought that by talking to us, we were "holding" her date and was surprised when the photographer she wanted was already booked.    You can choose your photographer when paying your deposit and that is locked on the calender (as long as they are not already booked).  We do have brides on the books for 2012 already and we've had quite a few dates this year already that everyone is booked, so when you place your deposit is up to you but if you want to book someone in particular sooner is better than later.   However all of our photographers have been with us for more than 6-7 years, are all friends (actually 3 of them bought houses next door to each other LOL) and we make sure we do continuing classes and master classes with them trying to challenge them.  We're a pretty tight bunch!

Hi,

Thank you for chiming in with all the information.  I did realize that a deposit is needed for the date.  I just wanted to know how quickly vendors needed to be booked.

It sounds like you have a very close group.  That is always nice to see.

I will be sending in my deposit and contract soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
