Beaches ~ Turks & Caicos Roll Call!

Recommended Posts

Hi, the countdown is on!

The girls are well and back in school! thanks for asking.  It's not a bad idea to do a prepaid cell phone plan from either digicell or cable and wireless (LIME).  Both will be similar and digicel is right next to the main IGA grocery store.  Try to stick with texting vs calling as it's a lot cheaper!   Most cell plans in the US tend to get really expensive when roaming here, so a prepaid plan here is the right way to go.

If you're around I have a question about Digicel. Would you recommend us purchasing a prepaid cell phone plan from them? I'm interested in doing so I can stay in contact with our guest until they arrive a couple of days after us. Anyway, I just wanted your thoughts.

I hope all is well.

Yes I finally got them, after about 3 1/2 months of waiting and they came in wrong and I had to wait another 2 weeks for the right ones to come in!!! I ordered through barry promos if you use them I would order them like now!! Because it takes at least 4 months to get them in!

Hi ladies -

I wanted to give you a heads up - the Beaches Wedding sales kit has changed and many of the themes have reduced prices. Also if you're booking as a group - the added amenities have changed. I'm having issues attaching files, so if you want an updated copy just send me a PM....cheesy.gif

i know everyone has been talking about the calypso band and the steel pan player, but has anyone used the DJ services at Beaches? We're trying to decide if we should just rely on our iPods after dinner, of if we should get the DJ for a couple hours. Not really sure...

:)

I can't believe i have less than 3mths to go!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
