New Photography Company - Sweet Fire Photography

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has used Sweet Fire Photography???  Lori from Moments that Matter branched off and has started her own company.  She is still associated with MTM but she has her own site now too.  She is absolutely AMAZING, quick to respond to emails, answer my questions, and is incredibly nice.  I've hired her for my wedding (I can't wait!!!) and I'll be sure to write a review when I get back.

Check out her website.

We actually just used Moments that Matter for our wedding in October at El Dorado Royale.  Lori did an amazing job with our pics!  Lincoln was great, but Lori is definitely all about capturing every possible image she can.  I don't think I ever saw her sitting down, except for dinner when she does not photograph anyone.  If you are reading this trying to decide between a few photographers, just like I was a year ago, then look no further.  You can check out some of our pics on the MTM and Sweet Fire Facebook pages (Jeff and Crystal at El Dorado) and judge for yourself, but I promise you will not be disappointed.  The only problem I have now is trying to order pictures and not go bankrupt because there are so many beautiful images!

I am sure that Lori and her photography will only get better as time goes on! Best of luck with Sweet Fire, Lori!

Ladies, if you have any specific questions, then please let me know.  I am always happy to share a great experience.

I just saw this and am slightly freaking out! I hired Moments That Matter for my wedding in May. They told me when I hired them that they'd be working with assistants in 2011, but they DIDN'T say that Lori wouldn't be working for them at all! Does that mean MTM is now just Lincoln??

No worries Mexbride83.  It's Lori here.  Lincoln & I will do what we can to make sure you're comfortable with the photographer that will capture your wedding.

Just to clarify, for 2011 we have two companies.  I am lead photographer with Sweet Fire Photography and Lincoln is lead photographer with Moments That Matter.  We each have our own assistants that will be accompanying us on our photo shoots.

Our individual portfolios can be found at the respective websites.

Please email us to discuss further:  Lori@sweetfirephotography.com or contact@momentsthatmatterphotography.com.

Thanks.

Hey Ladies, It's Lori again.  DiamondGirl, we'll send you an email today to sort this out.

If anyone else has any questions please just fire us off an email to contact@momentsthatmatterphotography.com.  We did our best to be clear about this in our emails to each and ever bride, but if there was any miscommunication we will do whatever we can to fix it.

Okay everyone! Do Not freak out! My husband and I were lucky recipients of a photo shoot with moments that matter in Jan 2011 and their new assistants, each and everyone of them was amazing! You have nothing to worry about and as you can see Lori is already on top of your concerns! They are all so extremely professional, personable and passionate about what they do. I thought of them more as friends than photographers and after reading many reviews you will see everyone else as lucky to have used this wonderful team has felt the same way. My pics are on the way at which time I will write another review, but expect it to be amazing, as I do! Thanks Lori and Lincoln, Tanya and A.J.!!

Hi Ladies,

Just got back from our wedding on April 12, all I can say is WOW, Lori did such an amazing job.  I could not have been happier, she was so much fun to work with and the pictures are beyond amazing, I honestly, couldn't imagine having anyone else cover our day.  Ladies, you will not be disappointed, it was probably the easiest decision we had to make in our wedding planning and probably the best decision we could of made.  I've attached a short video that Lori did for my hubby and I, I think I've watched it 50 times, I just love the work she did.

We were married at the Barcelo Maya Palace, I wouldn't of changed a thing!!!  Hope this works!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
