Closest resort to stay while in puerto vallarta to Marina?

Hi, my fiance and I are planning a wedding in Puerto Vallarta , we are wondering what the best resort is for us and our guests. We are aiming towards Dreams PV , however how far is it from Marina  (time) & does Puerto Vallarta tours provide a ride for my guests if we plan on having our wedding at las caletas?

I was in PV about 4 years ago so not super super recent but from what I remember Dreams PV is nowhere near the marina.

We stayed at the Westin which was walking distance to the marina and I recall walking to restaurants at the marina.

I can't recall what other resorts were nearby but I think they were building some when we were there so perhaps try googling resorts near the marina and that might be a good place to start!

I have stayed at 3 different resorts in the Marina area; The Westin, the Mayan Palace, and Velas Vallarta. All are very nice resorts, and didn't have any complaints about any of them. Actually, we have chosen Velas for our wedding in January because we love it so much there (In my opinion it was the best out of the 3). I have never been out to where Dreams is located, but the Marina is generally about a 20 min cab ride from the new part of down town, and Dreams is located on the other side of Old Town, so I would expect a 40-60 min cab ride from Dreams to the Marina.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
