Also... 3 questions: Has anyone had a catholic ceremony? If yes, did you pick the readings as well as the music? When do you do the spa schedule for the wedding day? How long does tropical pictures take to edit the pictures? I am changing resorts the day after my wedding and I want to make sure the pictures will be ready Thanks!!! Only 2 more months!!! Congrats! Your pictures of beautiful!!! If you have time I was hoping you could answer a few questions.

1. How did you get the room numbers for your guests to put on the bags?

2. When you made dinner reservations did you make them just for yourselves or did you make them for other guests? Were most of your guests that came in on later days able to join you for dinner if they made reservations once they arrived?

3. How did you find it best to to communicate with your guests while you were there...dinners, excursions, timing of events and where to meet, activities....I don't want to force people to spend all of there time together, but I also wont they to know what groups of people are doing so they have the choice to join in if they want. I feel like we can't really tell people a lot of details until we get there and find out where and when things will take place.

I was thinking of typing up a template of information to give my guests and filling in the details and printing it once I arrived and then putting it in there welcome bags. Does this seem possible?

Thanks!

Thanks.......

1) I didn't have the room numbers on the bags. I had the guest names on each bag a list of who was coming and when.

2) We made as many dinner reservations as possible. I got some for people just getting there that day knowing they wouldn't get good ones the same day. There is no penalty for not using them. I made big reservation if they were available then told people they were more than welcome to join us if they wanted to.

3) I attached my welcome letter for your reference. I put times for everything I knew and TBD for the things I didn't know until I got there.

Hope that helps!

    • The cooking method can double the calorie content of a meal, so learn about healthy cooking without having to add extra fats, like using a steamer,  a rotisserie , a slow cooker , a pressure cooker, a grill. Once you cook your own meals, you can control the calorie content because your control the cooking method and all the ingredients. A lot of people are overweight because they keep eating food that they did not cook.
    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
