MissJali-

Sorry if you've already answered this but Arise told me that the fishbowls were included- so are you planning on just bringing the extra stuff? I think there's been some different answers coming from Bodas regarding what is actually included in the centerpieces. Arise said the flat mirrors are included also. I hope that's all true because those Christmas wreath things were terrible! lol

UGH sorry I had a moment. girl_werewolf.gif What package did you book? B/c it really should be included in the tangerine package since it is the most expensive one smh.

I did book the tangerine package... maybe that's the difference? I don't know. They're so confusing. I know that going into my site visit I didn't think that they were included. When Arise said they were (and the mirrors) I asked like 3 times to make sure. I figured a bride left them there and they upgraded their basic centerpieces. She also didn't seem to think there was a charge for any Bavaro Beach guests not staying at the Palace (unless it goes over your 35 people- then there's that charge).

PS. My comma button is broken! Sorry for the lack of punctuation!

Just the bowls and the flat mirrors underneath. I believe they are empty because I vaguely remember her mentioning that I could send my bridesmaids to put sand in it or something.

They're pretty slow at responding. I found Arise to be way better than Marlene was but I emailed Arise a week ago and still no response. I hope you get the same answer- that they are included. Let me know! :)

I guess they're busy then. I emailed her a week ago too and just re-emailed her so we'll see

Definitely bringing my own decorations, center pieces, bouquets and boutineers. I hope to use the bridesmaid bouquets for part of the center pieces as well.  There are great ideas on pinterest.  I've pinned all my possible options.  My fiance's cousin was married in punta cana last year as well and she to brought her own decor.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
