They have a trio band that comes with a couple of the packages and you can have them play whenever you want... ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc. I think they'll only play for  a set amount of time though. Other brides can give more specifics.

Girl this is the pricing for the bands at BBPD, I have the price list for the "extra" stuff. We wanted tipico too but not at this price and for half of the wedding is too much - Party lasts 3 hours.

Perico ripiado (cultural music) *2 sets of 45 mins 708
Tropical Band *2 sets of 45 minutes 3000

I received this from Aris this morning as the centerpiece that is included in the Tangerine package.  It looks nicer than what I had seen before that looked like Christmas tree and a pinecone candle holder.

Hi Samantha,

Could you be so kind to email me this as well?  tmapue@gmail.com

Does anyone know if the resort requires you to furnish your legal marriage certificate before they will perform a symbolic ceremony? My fiance and I are thinking of doing the legal ceremony when we get home for personal reasons, and I just want to make sure this isn't an issue.

I never even thought about this!  Fiance and I will be getting married before punta cana.  I'm am going to ask my travel agent! Let me know if you find out!

QUESTION LADIES:

For the women who have done their wire transfer, do you mind me asking did you do it through your own bank or through your travel agent?  My WC is asking to do this through my travel agent which we are ok we just have to pay a fee.  We are still trying to contact our own bank to see how much the fees will be.  Also, how much were the fees (if you had any)?  It's just confusing since the first WC said we would do the transfer and my new WC is now saying I have to do it through my travel agent.

Thank you in advance :)

I did it through my bank to avoid 3rd party interruptions lol

I spoke to my WC and she was fine with the direct transaction. Some banks charge fees definitely but I didn't have to pay it.

AngeliniC - I need your email if you are wanting me to send you the centerpiece

llewald and tricia-m - I sent an email with the picture of the included centerpiece.

Tricia-m - we did the transfer for our deposit through our travel agent as she was the one working to set everything up with the resort and get our wedding booked.  There was no extra fee for that but we had paid her to take care of all the wedding set up and group travel bookings.

SoonMrsD - could you send me the list of extras please too!  My email is sammie_s2@hotmail.com

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
