Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe

Recommended Posts

Hey MissJali-

From what I have read, white is standard and you pay extra for colored napkins. I have also read that some brides bring their own colored napkins.

I am also getting the Tangerine Package and am assuming I will be having white napkins.

Hi girls! does anyone know if colored napkins are included in the tangerine package or is it just white napkins?
Colored napkins are not included, they're $4 each, which adds up pretty quick! I'm trying to find cheaper ones to bring myself or just find another way to bring color to the table.

Good morning all you beautiful brides to be!  I am also getting married at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe on April 8, 2014!!  smile123.gifWe will be having a catholic ceremony at the chapel and our reception at Las Bridas restaurant.  The colors of our wedding will be purple plum and silver. Honestly Im not really sure if he is allowed to do legal weddings. I never considered doing a legal ceremony there, so i just straight away asked for the symbolic when speaking with him. The thing is though, it was just as real to me as it was to my guests. I wanted prayer, words from the bible, a minister, blessings over our marriage because acknowledging God's presence was my number one. He does all of that, and when he has you sign your marriage certificate in front of everyone I dont see why anyone would question whether it was legal or not. Noone ever asked me after at all. And for me it wasnt so much important about the legal part as it was so stand in front of my friends and family and say you know I am here because of God and he will always be the number one in our lives in order to have a successful marriage and that is what Pastor York does. I would not have been satisfied had I not hired him. (I even had them read from the bible at the courthouse when we got our legal ceremony done.) :) There is a forum on here about him that might answer the legal question just search Rick York. Hope that helps!

Hi Natalie!

I forgot to thank you for this post! I have been so caught up in the "legal" side of the wedding that I lost site of what, or more importantly, Who brought us together in the first place! I appreciate your words of wisdom! :)

Hello ladies! So my wedding is now around the corner in only 12 days!! I'm so stressed out hoping that everything turns out okay. I decided to do a non-denominational legal ceremony on the beach because I didn't want to walk down the aisle and already be married, I was just worried it wouldn't feel the same, but guess what? I still don't have a time for the wedding! I can't create a timeline with my photographer or anyone else for that matter as the judge hasn't confirmed the time. I don't know what to do! I will be sure to write a review and let you ladies know how everything ends up turning out. Wish me luck!

Het,

They do offer these colors. I asked my WC for their colors a few weeks ago, you may want to do the same. I tried to upload the pdf but it was the wrong file type. I booked the tangerine package and I'm not 100% sure if the colors options are the same.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
