Here are the answers to your questions:   Can I have different food for the children? Like pizza or chicken nuggets?  Yes, and it free of charge.   You previously said there was no cost to use the sound system at the ceremony to play my ipod for the entrance of myself and the bridal party, has this since changed? Please be informed that on the Tangerine package you have a small speaker where you can connect an iPod

WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! That ish better not change by next March b/c i will become Bridezilla!!!!!!!!!

MissKay,

A lot of us are having symbolic ceremonies for this reason. There is only one judge for the Punta Cana area performing all of the legal ceremonies for the resorts, if I'm not mistaken and they have to check with the judge's schedule to fit you in and it will most likely not be the time you want. It will be when the judge is available that day. This will happen with any of the other wedding coordinators as far as taking a while to get back to you.

Hey, So can anyone explain to me how the club premium works? Do you need a specific room category to be able to get it? Anyone have a ball park on how much it is? Can you sign up for it when you arrive or do you have to do it before you arrive? Thanks!

Hi Parrish

From what I understand through my TA...Club premium is based on your room. So the ocean front jr suite and up.  She did mention once that if my mom wanted wifi everyday it would be an extra charge of 30/day and just said that if she changed to club premium the price for her room would significantly change...which she meant she would be switching from a jr suite to an ocean front jr suite.  I didnt get the feeling you could just purchase the club premium, however she did say that once you get there you can upgrade to it (but your room would be upgraded as well so you would be paying for all that, not just the benefits of cp).  This is just the info I got. The difference in the two rooms last month was about 30.00 a day for dbl occupancy, so for my mom if she really needed wifi that bad it would have been a fine trade off. I think it depends though when your reservation is and what the prices are then.

Awesome review disazaja, and STUNNING pictures!!! You are an absolute beautiful bride...the dress, the hair, the groom, the bridal party, everything! I loved all of the colors, and that each GM had 2 BMs. Ha! Tropical pictures did an excellent job capturing everything...of course you're gonna want all 400 photos. Total scam, but worth it I'm sure. Thanks for sharing your beautiful day with us :) And thank you so much for the details...I'm so printing out your review as a reference. You pretty much covered it all!

Questions...

1. You mention having welcoming cocktails AND appetizers at the rooftop spa/infinity pool terrace. I saw another bride post that food is not allowed on the rooftop terrace. This obviously isn't true if your guests were able to have appetizers up there, which is great news! Can you confirm that the food and drinks were on the rooftop terrace, and not just close by?! I love that venue and I really want to have the same type of cocktail hour before the reception.

2. Your BM dresses are BEAUTIFUL. Who are they made by? I would ask for the style but I see they are different styles, which I love!

3. At your reception, what type of drinks are those multi-colored cocktails I saw in your pics, lined up at the bar? Very cool and they look good. Just curious.

For my fellow Tangerine Sunset package brides who are not having the cocktail hour and considering playing their own music for the ceremony, any ideas on how to use the musical trio included in our package? Think they won't mind making their way over to the Carey bar where I would have my guests wait while we're taking photos and until the reception starts?

Diana: I know you brought lanterns with you for the reception space but they didnt use them all.  Can you give me an idea of how many you would say they actually hung up? Also, were those the large lanterns or small and did it look right with just the few. Just thinking if its even worth bringing them or not, and if it made a difference/statement...watcha think?

Trivera! I brought 48 (bc of the color mix 12 yellow, 12 pink, 12 orange and 12 green) and I brougth a mix of small and large... so like 24 and 24... My husband counted them LOL he is a control freak ahahahahah he counted 30ish some of them maybe broke sonce they are very delicate... they did give it a colorful touch but I was going for that... I would just ask her upfront like how many you should bring... Alos, the lenght made a difference, some of my were long enough but some werent so they got lost with the drapes.

We had 3 waitresses bringing food and drinks! Lianny was outside to avoid people to crash our event hahahah 2. Your BM dresses are BEAUTIFUL. Who are they made by? I would ask for the style but I see they are different styles, which I love! They are actually the same dress! It is convertible! We got them on etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/CoralieBeatrix Totally recommend them! Really cheap too! 100 for long ones! She also has short ones, lace ones, high/low ! Everyone loved the dress! 3. • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
