Trivera5521: Thank you for the info love...this is so frustrating though I don't even know how to budget for this wedding...it seems impossible! I just sent her a super long email & am trying to play nice so lets see how she responds. She does tend to take 1-2 weeks to answer to me too so I had stopped writing her. It's not fair that she tells us one thing and doesn't even take the time to send an email and let us know if something changes. They should honor the price that they show online at least. :/

Disazaja: Thank you so much! I just emailed her asking her but you know how that is! I saw your pictures and I really liked how you decorated everything especially the table with the cake. I wanted to do the massage before the wedding too but my fiance said we should do it after. I also wanted to honeymoon at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana but I dont know how much of a hassle it will be for us. It sounds like it wasn't worth it for you either. Did they honor the price of $6 per tiffany chair they gave you or did you have any surprises in price? Also, did they supply menu cards for the reception?

Trivera5521,  Great question! I guess I have to confirm with Susana again, because I asked her a few months ago and she said they paid full price.  My daughters, ages 5 and 9 are a few of the kids I have attending.  Thanks. Bjeantil,  Do you know if they offer a different meal selection for the kids?  I would prefer to order pasta or pizza for the kids. Thanks in advance. [/quot

Thank you so much Tamara.  I emailed her a couple of days to go but it still takes her about a week to respond.  She responded quickly to you so I wouldn't say that you're on her shit list....lol

Nykat...right LOL. Well my wedding is in like 5 weeks so I am sure that has something to do with it.

Diana: I know you brought lanterns with you for the reception space but they didnt use them all.  Can you give me an idea of how many you would say they actually hung up? Also, were those the large lanterns or small and did it look right with just the few. Just thinking if its even worth bringing them or not, and if it made a difference/statement...watcha think?

Hello Ladies, i am having a wedding on the beach and Lianny said that in case of rain, we can rent a tent. She also said that renting a led lighted dance floor is $2,000. She didn't provide a rate for a tent. Has anyone rented a tent on the beach? Is it good and does it actually protect from rain? Is the led dance floor worth $2,000 or is it better to be without a dance floor?

Thank you for all of your wonderful suggestions! It has been so helpful in planning a wedding!

FYI Girls:

Here are the answers to your questions:   Can I have different food for the children? Like pizza or chicken nuggets?  Yes, and it free of charge.   You previously said there was no cost to use the sound system at the ceremony to play my ipod for the entrance of myself and the bridal party, has this since changed? Please be informed that on the Tangerine package you have a small speaker where you can connect an iPod

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
