We had 10 tables some with 8 people, some with 9, some with 10...our seating arrangements were all over the place....but 10 centerpieces in all.

Hi ncordero6504,

 

I didn't really see my hubby the day of...he was in our room getting ready with his boys while I was in the spa...he was taken to the venue with the rest of the guests at 4:15p and I wasn't picked up from the spa until after 5pm....

 

As for the cake...didn't come out exactly as I wanted but they tried. I can't seem to upload the pictures on here but send me a PM and I can email you the difference.

Has anyone brought their own music player to play ceremony music rather than rent the DJ equipment? Just for the ceremony, not the reception.

I am getting so excited there is only 56 days left until our wedding day at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace!  EEEEEeeeekk!  I check my email hourly it seems hoping to hear something!  I just actually sent Lianny an email a few moments ago asking if there is any decisions I need to make before we get there!  I am so anxious now!  I feel like Ive combed through You tube over and over and every review on the Internet.  I thought I heard that when it was two months from the wedding date we get a spa menu from the resort.... that Ive yet to see   I am going to get my trial  hair done this Friday here in Edmonton, I am so excited for that!  I will take pictures and hopefully the resort will be able to do it for me too! This weekend we have our chihuahuas even having a trial sleepover at the boarding kennel  preparing for when we are gone haha! Ive been packing a closet in my condo that is full of wedding stuff that I am going to bring with me.  I have a cake topper, sand ceremony, I got starfish magnets with our initials and dates for favors for our guests.  I am meeting up with my Maid of honor this week and MC to go over wedding details of best I can tell them.....LOL.  I started making seat charts and what not! I also started to try to make an intineary for the week too!  I really liked the site for the ``Imagine Caves`` where they do the stimutaneous stage/stagette!  I am going to book that before the wedding!

 

I have the bridesmaid dresses all in, my dress ready, garter, veil, starfish hair piece for me and my bridesmaid and starfish boutonnieres for the guys.  Kyle my fiancè his suit is white linen with the jacket and the guys are with no jackets!

 

I am curious if we are able to steam our dresses and iron the suits when we get there as well

 

I also wanted to thanks JGCorona for sharing her FB page and Youtube videos so I could get even more excited for my own wedding!  Also to all the other brides too, every little bit has been so great!

 

Sorry for my random ramble but I am itching to go now hehe!

The surprise to me was this questionnaire she claimed to send me!  I had no such email EVER!!I would have been so excited for it and shared the news long ago!  I looked over my emails and she never did!  SO silly!!

 

So now I have the questionnaire .... It scares me what else she may have 'sent' me!

For your questions...i have no idea about the iron, but for sure you cant get the resort to steam your dress. They dont do it there. Some girls have said to put it in the bathroom and run a hot shower to get the wrinkles out. Hope it works cause my dress will need de-wrinkling too!

Hello ladies,
Wondering if anyone has done, seen, or is planning a beach reception. Would love any input or advice. anything on seating, decorations, location, bar availablity, privacy, dance floor, Dj, and bathroom location. Also planning a garden gazebo ceremony, so any input there would be great. Does anyone know how many people can be seated inside, or do they sit you outside? Anything would be great. Hope everyone is doing well with planning. Just said yes to a dress, so it is feeling more real. Thanks!
