Out Of Town

Its a bag filled with a few goodies that you can give your guests upon arrival to the destination, that helps them have a magical holiday as they celebrate your wedding. Many use these instead of wedding favors, since they are very useful to your guests for the duration of their stay.

Just an FYI. Walmart has some seriously awesome Bubba colors available right now!

Anyone have any cute quotes or saying for these I can add to a tag I want to attach? I am giving them all out before we go so I don't end up having to take an entire suitcase just for them!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them?

I am picking up some in place of OOT bags and I am attaching a note that says thank-you and a little message to everyone. We plan to hands these out to people as we greet them at the lobby when they arrive at the resort.

For ours, I ordered waterproof stickers that said "Feet in the Sand, Drink in my hand" and then said our names and the date in the middle.

@ They are the 34oz, I bought 20 at $8.94 so with tax I paid about $191. It seems pricey but it was cheaper than to buy them online even with the bulk order discount they offer! They are so solid and you can just tell they are really well made and I know our group will love them and USE them. Thats the main reason I skipped a OOT bag and got these instead. I too think I am going to do some vinyl lettering just so everyone knows which one is theirs.

I wish I could hand them out once we get there as well I just know I won't have room for them. Most of the people are getting them at my bridal shower and bachelorette party!

Also since your wedding is in November you could probably just keep an eye out on them and later on in the summer I think they usually will go down in price a bit. That might be a little more affordable!

Thanks for all that info! I have my eyes on the 20 oz one's on the bubba website, should they not go on sale prior to our wedding - we have 50 people and will need approx. 40-50 bubba kegs, so we would definitely be over the 200$ spend.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
