Excited about upcoming site visits in Jamaica!

Recommended Posts

My fiance and I are going to JA next weekend to do some on site visits. I'm so excited! My fiance was born and raised in JA, so us planning to have our wedding there will be very special.

The resorts we're going to visit are:

Iberostar, Riu Mobay, Riu Negril, Riu Tropical Palace, Moon Dance Cliffs and The Hilton Rose Hall Beach & Spa.

If anyone wants me to get some brief notes for them re any of the resorts above, just let me know!

My FI was born and raised in JA too so this means that much more to him too. We're getting married at Moon Dance Cliffs and ANYTHING you want to share will be great. So nice of you to offer. Have a great time!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know how you like the Riu Tropical Bay. I am seriously considering it for my wedding next June and haven't found any 2011 brides that are getting married there. Of course, this greatly concerns me. If you can please check out the beach wedding options and get a general sense of the place, I would be most appreciative.

Have a great time and I look forward to ALL of your reviews. cheer2.gif

I'm going on site visits in Jamaica to Iberostar, RIU Montego Bay and Tropical Bay, Rose Hall Hiltion Nov 11th-14th. We're staying at the Iberostar Grand whick is our #1 choice, if all goes well we will most likely be canceling our stie visits at the rest of the resorts so we can plan/sneak in a weekend vacation. Let me know how your visits go! Good Luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
