I can't sleep because I am too excited!!!

All I would like to do is sleep!

Yet I can't because I am way too excited. My wedding is in 7 weeks and I can't stop thinking about colours, food, music, flowers, weather, bikinis, dresses and a million other things... food

It's great in the day as it keeps me so happy and occupied in my little dream world, but now I actually need to sleep! lol And I'm still thinking about it like a kid on Christmas Eve... Plus the fact that I am slightly hungry due to the pre wedding/beach bikini body regime! .... did i mention food?

And if I am not thinking wedding in my head I am on here or google or youtube, looking at the same pictures, reviews, comments, videos seeing if I can find more. My screen saver is the beach! I have a wedding folder that has about 10 folders in it! Dresses, Bridesmaids, Flowers, Colour schemes, tables, Guest List, Menus!, Hotel info....etc

And the funny thing is I am keeping it super simple, not even bringing much with me and there is not that much to plan. I am taking full advantage of having a Destination Wedding = no stress. But it certainly doesn't stop the excitement!

I am going to start counting sheep now, which will probably turn into OOT bags mid flight...

Oh well at least I am burning more Calories while I am awake... wide awake and very very excited!!!

Thanks girls it is very very exciting! My FI refuses to talk about it with me as he can't take the hype. Then yesterday he asked, what is this website you are always on? I was like ooh BDW... just about to speak and he says, can you trying and tell me in a calm manner without raising your voice a few octaves higher! ahahahaha I took that opportunity to ask him about the menu and his suit seeing as he was letting me talk about it! lol

OMG I know exactly how you feel!  My wedding is in less than 5 weeks and I am freaking out!!!  I keep a notepad by my bed and have all these lists of things to do and not forget that I write in every night and try to check off as amny as possible the next day...  I too am trying to take advantage of having a DW and not going all out or anything, but then the more cute things I see the more I want to do and the more I want everything to be just right!  My Dad pointed out to me the other day that I'm the one making it as complicated as I want it to be wink.gif  He's so right!  Mostly now I'm just stressing that I'll forget something, or that my hair or makeup will turn out bad the day of, ya know?  Oh, and like you I'm trying to watch what I eat, but I'm getting tired of it!

So glad it's not just me! my Dad said the exact same thing to me. He's like "you know you can just turn up and it will all be great. They do this everyday there, you're not the first wedding!" hahaaha

I'm worried about my hair too because of the wind! I'm having the ceremony on the beach so it needs to be a style that will still look good when the wind is blowing it back.

I ate pasta and cake yesterday and I could have sworn i put on 4lbs! lol My hubby told me to get a grip and next time just don't eat it if I'm going to go on and on about it! so true! I did an extra 20mins on the treadmill this morning so feel much better now. I was listening to my wedding playlist so the time just flew by lol

Oh well, I'm going to miss it when its all over.

Where is your wedding?

Cam, enjoy it.  it will fly by.  I need to find a new hobby, however I just had the thrill of the wedding last night right before bedtime and our pics are on the photogs website, OMG they are great.  I so understand how you feel about the wedding.  Try to relax at night, I had lists on my iphone that I continually updated.  Anyway have fun with it; it will be here before you know it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
