Help! Need a boutique all-inclusive... So lost!

I am getting married in November 2011, but we don't have a resort yet. We don't want a large resort (nothing Dreams-like). We want a 5-star, luxury, boutique hotel, but something that also has all-inclusive options. We have zeroed in on Mayan Riviera, but we can't find a good collection of boutique all-inclusives. Anyone have any ideas? Please help a bride in need! My friends and family really need me to make a decision on a date and location, so they can start planning!

Welcome boutiquebride! I have to agree with Mistibuard the best place to start would be by searching within the threads of the mayan riviera brides. If you work with a TA they will also be able to narrow your search alot quicker. Good luck and happy planning!

Hi and Welcome! You should check out Zoetry and VERY boutique, All inclusive AND 5 star . Its amazing from what I have seen. Located in RM.

 

Check out the Del Sol Wiki to see pictures of the hotel and of other hotels in the area. They are all oragnized by hotel and area so its sooo easy to find what you are looking for

Karisma has some good boutique hotels. El Dorado's are their adults only boutique ones.  Maroma(on a marina) and Seasides were some of my top picks, very high end and spa like with great reviews about service and food.

Yup, I second the Karisma properties.  Azul Beach is a boutique hotel with only 98 rooms.  We were married there.  It's part of the kid-friendly chain of Karisma properties.  Like was mentioned above, El Dorado is their adults-only chain.  However, not all Karisma properties are boutiques!  Only El Dorado Maroma from that chain (70-ish rooms) is boutique.  Seaside suites has 200+ rooms and El Dorado Royale is GIANT!  The only large one on the Azul side is Azul Sensatori.

What is the difference between going through a TA and a GI consultant.  Should I contact both? If so, which one do you contact first to inquire about dates etc. I am just starting and have no idea where to begin!
