David's Bridal is coming to Ontario Canada

I got an invite from Wedding Bells magazine saying that they are having the grand opening on March 3.

I will totally check it out for bridesmaids dresses! I've been searching their website for a while, it looks pretty nice for a simple beach wedding!

I'm excited about their move to Cnd as well.  Vera Wang has a new line with them coming out this March which seems pretty affordable.  I hope the prices aren't drastically higher than in the U.S.

Good news!  I was going to head down to NY  during March Break.  If the prices are good then I won't bother.

I was in the eglinton area doing shopping and I see "TARGET" so we drove in the parking lot just to see and then behind it is DAVIDS BRIDAL and I was like "I'm sure we don't have that in Canada!"  Because I used to look through their site as a teenager to see the gowns a few years ago. 

Anyway, it said grand opening so I thought to just take my SO and we could look at the styles on the mannequins.  We got swarmed walking in and they insisted they set us up with a consultant even though I was in my shopping clothes and not in the mood to shop, especially WITH my groom by my side! 

I just let them take me around and nothing caught my eye, the shoes are very cute and all the bridesmaid stuff is convenient to get from a store like david's. 

 

They are having a sale on March 3rd-6th, so they pressured me to make an appointment and I decided to combine it with the sale date on thursday but now I already found a dress and it seems even the accessories are only discounted if you buy a dress from them

I will cancel my appointment and go any other day while in the area to check the shoes, at $50 the styles are nice, reviews said to make sure you try them on and walk around a bit as the sizes are a bit odd but overall they're saying they are comfy.   

They have veils and flip flops, the accessories are cute.  Lots of stuff. 

 

The vera collection isn't bad, you can check them out online, all seem to be in the $1200 range.
