Anyone taking guests on an excursion?

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies, i'm just wondering if any of you are planning on taking your guests on an excursion? FI wants to take everyone on some sort of adventure while we are away as a thank you to our guests? I'm just wondering if anyone has and what did you do? We are having 35 guests so i'm a bit concerned about costs, as well as choosing something everyone will enjoy???

Thanks

I hope to do this as well - but I am going to have to wait until I figure out how many people are coming before I can pick an excursion.  I am not sure where you are getting married, but one option for an excursion that isn't horribly pricey is a catamaran cruise.  My thought is to pick an excursion and then ask my guests before the trip who would like to join (as everyone won't enjoy everything).  I will 100% pay for immediate family and depending on the number of guests attending the wedding, I may only be able to subsidize the excursion for others.

We are going to Mexico, so a catamaran cruise would be perfect. I like the idea of keeping costs down by paying for some adn subsidizing for others. Thanks for your suggestion!

I am getting married in Ocho Rios Jamaica,  I just found a company then I emailed them and they gave me a quote!

I think i will look into it before we go...we were thinking of just sorting it out when we get there, but maybe if we do it ahead of time we'll get a deal!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
