Congrats and happy planning!  My fiance and I visited Le Reve, La Amada, and Ceiba del Mar in June (we visited a fourth too, but they are no longer in business).  We loved all three - and they all had different things to offer.  We selected Ceiba del Mar, but Le Reve was a very, very close second.  Our biggest issue with Le Reve was that it was too small to hold all of our guests. It is small, so you may be able to rent the whole place so your nephew and niece can attend - we have a 7 and 9 year old attending our wedding as well!  The WC at Le Reve was incredible, and so far the people at Ceiba have been amazing - so no issues there.  The WC at La Amada was also very responsive and helpful when we planned and attended the site visit.

I wrote a review on here somewhere back in June/July.  If you have any questions or want more opinions/info about our visits, feel free to ask!

Good Luck!

Its amazing!

I know Del Sol has done a photoshoot at Le Reve before. I will see if I can find it. I hear La Reve amazing! I am thinking of doing a few honeymoon days there! Get away from the big commerical resorts for a bit...Lucky Girl!

Let me know if you want to chat about Del Sol in Pm's or if you have any questions. I think I am one of their biggest fans!

Welcome to the forum.  I work a lot in the Tulum area.  There are a few areas with villas in the Tulum area.  If you want the Tulum beach but close to restauarants I would suggest Ranco San Eric.  Soliman Bay is a great area if you want a great place to go snorkeling and ocean that the children can play in.  There are some amazing homes in Si'an Kaan, they are off the beaten path but have AMAZING beaches.  One of my clients just came back from her scouting trip.  She was looking for something similar.  Here is the link to her review.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
