Picturesque places in Freeport and Nassau near cruise port?

We are getting married on embarkation day on the Carnival Fantasy on Aug 8, 2011; but we would love to have some pictures taken while visiting in Freeport and Nassau to include in our wedding album. Does anybody know of any places that are close enough to the port so that we won't get lost? :) I would love to have some pretty wedding vacation pictures in the Bahamas to go along with the actual ceremony/reception pictures on the ship.

When you first get off the ship in Nassau most of what you'll see are building. These house stores and restaurants. As you walk further inland you will come across court buildings , churches, museums, a library and a few monuments. You will need to grab the jitney (a mini bus) or a cab to take you to several beaches in the area if you are looking for that kind of scenery.

 

This is the first thing you seen when docking into Nassau.

These below are a few block inland, but I don't remember what each place was.
We never made it to the beach because a rain storm came through.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
