@ Mindy - I'm also getting married at dreams in March 2012. I found the same issue with the guest list and found that the best way to do it is keep it to close friends and relatives so that people don't get offended. That wayyou don't have to invite this person b/c they are friends with that person etc. I realized that it will get very pricey very quickly if i invite people at whim.

I hired a travel agent to do my booking but i'm also having problems iwth this. I need to get information from my guests before they even get the invitations. Does anyone have advice on how to make sure you get all the dates without being pushy?

@Mich101- congrats on your wedding! how did you plan everything with the resort? did you have to wait until you got there? how did you coordinate everyone?

Thanks for any help and information!!!

Hi Sasha!

Thank you! I emailed back and forth with the wedding coordinator. However, when  you get there  they have binders of things and ideas that you can pick out. But, being me... I  like to have ideas in mind before hand....
We gave our guests the travel agent we were using...and so they either booked with them or found something on cheaptickets.com or expedia.

Theres different wedding packages that you can choose with the resort..and on that you'll see what is included and what the extras are..and you can decide what extra things you want.

feel free to PM me for any other questions you may have. I'll go into much detail as possible :)
and I def had the wedding of my dreams there! :D and my guests all loved it there too!

and I have to post my review too!

Hello dear

Wish you a happy planning and welcome to the forum.

Dreams has an area to have a reception but not like a disco terrace. Fell free to have a look on my album to see some photos.

Best Regards

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
