200$ is fairly good deal!!! Around here you would pay about 350-400$ for the same stuff smile27.gif

I tried to get appointments with a seamstress here and was told to come after Thanksgiving :( Well, Canadian Thanksgiving, which is in a few weeks :D I can't wait to try my dress again.

Once you do your BD shoot you will love it!

On another note, I got a bunch of wedding related decor, etc, last weekend. Time to get down to business! I'm making my guestbook as well as a bunch of my other paper related stuff currently. I need to get in to get my dress altered yet, as well as order my fiance's suit. Those top my list of to-do's right now. I also got my flower ordered finalized last week. Whew!

That makes me feel better about my dress fitting.... I have not had one yet and I was worried I was too late.  I am trying to shed a few more lbs before I go in for my dress fitting.  My dress is really simple, bascially just a normal dress that is white (I bought it off the rack, and it fit fine at the time, just a little long).  But I guess I have to start calling seamstresses to see about appointments and how long they need.  That last 10 lbs may never come off.  Oh well.

Other than procrasinating the dress fitting, I have been doing well.  Menus done, everything for OTT bags bought (just need to put them together), and all ceremony type details and decor done.  Just need to get a travel info brouchure put together for the guests, got those OTT bags put together, get the seating charts done (we have 4 guests that keep saying they are coming, but have not yet booked so we are waiting on them), and then I want to have some playlists set up for the welcome happy hour and the rehearsal dinner.  I am sure there are a million other things that I am forgetting about, but at least for today this list doesn't seem too daunting with 2 months left.

I am usually a procrasinator, so this

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
