I found some shrinky dink at the art store and did some test charms.  I love them!  I just stamped them, used my circle punch, in the oven for two mins.  So easy!!! In the picture you can see how much they shrank.  Now I need to find the other pieces to make them wine charms.

Very cool!  What size did you make them originally and what are they shrunken down?  The dog tag example was 3 inches to 1.25 inches but I thought that might be too big for wine glasses.

It was about an inch and 3/4 and now it is just 3/4.  I'd say it's a great size.

Perfect.  My prototype was 3/4 inch also and I thought that was just right.

              Thanks!

I'm finally getting caught up on wedding stuff after a very hectic holiday season.  I bought the shrinky dink printer paper and LOVE it.  I forgot how fun they can be!  Here are the new charms - they look similar but are much sturdier - what a perfect idea.  I also decided to make some keychains for the OOT bags (didn't like any in the gift shops during my site visit).  Still have lots more to do, but need to wait for RSVPs for the rest.

This is such a fabulous idea! For those of you considering using these personalized wine charms as favors or escort cards, are you worried that guests might forget to take the charm off their glass at the end of the night?

I also had great success with shrinky dinks. Our wine charms were so so easy to make and I'm thrilled with how they turned out. I'm thinking of making them for our AHR too!
