Dreams Tulum

Hi my name is Tracy and I am a newbie!

I am thinking about getting married at Dreams Tulums in April or May 2008. I really want to get married in the Spanish Chapel. Did anyone get married in the chapel? We might have more than 30 people so I am not sure how this will work out...

Any suggestions on music, reception site, photography, food?

If anyone has pictures I would LOVE to look at them!

Thanks!

Welcome, Tracy! I am getting married at Dreams on October 26th, 2007 (as long as hurricane Dean doesn't wipe out the resort; scary! :).

The chapel is very small. It only holds about 18 people. Have you contacted Sandra yet (wedding coordinator)?

There are lots of pictures on the site. Just click the search button at the top of the page and type "Dreams Tulum" in the search box.

Welcome to the forum Tracy! I would say the chapel seats 20 or so in the pews comfortable. They can also add chairs to the sides of the pews, but not in the aisle, but on the outside. We had 30 and Sandra said it would be no prob at all for my peeps to fit.

We had our reception outside at El Patio and it was awesome!

Hey Tracy! My hubby Jason (Lambert13) and I got married at Dreams Tulum last month on the beach. The chapel is beautiful but small. You'll probally be able to fit 30 in there. Our wedding reviews are listed under the Wedding Review Section of this forum. We have links to our pics on there as well. Feel free to contact either of us for more info.

Welcome Tracy! Take advantage of theknowledge that abounds in this forum. Just an example would be, Mikki is the Queen of Techie's, Nurse Sarah is the reigning Queen of DIY, although there are a few Lady's In Waiting who are attempting to overthrow our beloved Queen. Then there is Heidi who is the Queen of Graphics. Queen Heidi and Lady Robin will be able to help you with any problems with avatars or siggies. The rest of us are here to help in any other way we can. Oh, and our lovely Host Tami is a destination wedding specialist in travel. She has her own travel agency and has helped many of our brides. She can be reached by sending her a PM (private message).

My specialty is asking the brides for help and also I am one of three mothers of the bride (I think only 3) on the forum.

Any help we can give is there for the asking.

Lizzy

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
