These were a hit!  I was really debating it at the end and thinking people will already be in semi comfortable shoes and it takes up so much space to carry down.  But I'm so glad I did it.  Guests kept telling me "those flip flops saved our lives."  I had a lot of extra and of course didn't feel like bringing them home but it worked out.  My DJ asked if he could have a pair for his girlfriend and I told him to take them all."  So they aren't going to waste.

Funny story though - I had 2 pairs specifically for me and my MOH because I didn't want to run out of our sizes.  All the others were plain but ours had rhinestones so that should have been the first clue.  On the tags instead of the size I wrote "Bride" and "MOH."  Well within the first half hour of the event I see my husbands (wow weird to write that) 10 year old niece wearing my flip flops.  I'm like OMG!  My sister told her those were mine.  But then a half hour later another girl was wearing them but I guess someone told her too.  At that point we took them and stashed them under my table.  Then later another girl was wearing the MOH shoes.  I guess I should have written out Matron of Honor but I thought it was obvious. Oh well, it provided some good laughs.

if anyone does decide to do this..and is getting married next year...old navy tends to sell their flip flops in early summer..i want to say either may or june for a dollar..that would be a GREAT time to stock up or you could simply visit a dollar tree where flip flops are ALWAYS on sale for, yep, you guessed it...a dollar.

                as always, happy planning!!

Michael's has them in their clearance section right now, pink and black...  for $1.  If I were doing it, I would totally take advantage of the sale!

I stocked up on white flip flops for our wedding party when Old Navy had their $1, couldn't beat the price.
