Hello Ladies,

 

I am so happy to stumble upon this forum, and tonight especially. We've put down the deposit for our wedding at PPC (!) after reading lots of reviews and really studying $$. Of course as soon as the deposit was paid I started to really focus on the negative reviews and become really nervous. BUT the recent pictures I've seen, and the happy brides through this forum, have settled my nerves.

 

We're planning on doing the Chill Out Chic package and will have around 15 guests in attendance. We were looking for an intimate, special, nice and fun wedding atmosphere and are both really, really excited!!

 

We are struggling a bit with the photographer. Any suggestions for photographers local to PC? We've looked at Photo Souvenir and really liked their TTD sessions, but I saw an earlier bride point to Phil Steingard and I LOVE his portfolio. Has anyone worked with him before or know the cost of having him shoot in PC?

 

Also, does anyone know the most private place to get married at the resort? We were thinking of getting married on the beach, but are a little concerned about random people bothering the wedding.

 

Okay, I think I'm done with the questions for now. I look forward to lots of discussions and pictures of PPC, and learning of everyone's wedding plans! I think it's going to be fabulous :-)

Hey, Our wedding is at the PPC on Dec 3 2011.  I have heard so many great things about this resort.

As for the ceremony we are choosing the gazebo, i heard its the most private! 

We looked at prices for a photographer and were blown away by all of them!! they are sooo expensive!! so a cousin of mine who is starting his photography business is coming along and will be taking our photos.

We have also chosen the chill out chic package, and have about 40 guests coming.  What i am most nervous about is extra things that we need that we will have to spend money on last minute... i am really hoping this is kept to a minimum!

Have you had your power planning phone call as yet??  I believe ours is coming up in august.

What are you doing for a DJ/mc?   and where are you having your reception?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
