Gran Caribe Real Brides 2012

Recommended Posts

Hi Vicky!

YEAH! I am more than happy to have you come and take a peek and won't think you're a creep at all. haha.

Where are you having your ceremony and reception? We will be using the Gazebo (the Chapel is amazing but we are not Catholic) and then the Terrace Villa. The one without the green carpet. haha.

I'm so excited and think we have made a wonderful choice with picking the Gran Caribe for our wedding. : )

LOL thanks Jenna:)

Our ceremony will take place at The Royal on the beach.. Cocktail hour will be by a gazebo, close to our reception.. And our reception will also take place at Villas Terrace!

I wish we could get married inside the chapel.. I tried even though neither of us are Catholic=/

Are you going for a site visit? We will be going in August.. SO EXCITED to tour both hotels and do our food tasting.. And ask about centerpieces and all that.. :) If you need me to take any pics of anything let me know!

Hi ladies!  I just booked our wedding for 4/21/12 today!  I found the posts on this website to be very helpful and am working with Wendy at Wright Travel on our rooms (thanks for all the referals on this site to her!).  We will do a site visit sometime this fall.  We will be having our wedding in the Gazebo and our receiption in one of the ballrooms.  I'm thinking about using an outside florist and found a referal in the Now Jade thread.  Anyone else have a good, inexpensive florist that can just drop off the flowers at the hotel?  Otherwise, we are going with the Luxury package and I plan to keep it simple, I want to have a great time and enjoy the wedding and not stress about trying to add too many details.  Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
