July is so close! I bet you're really excited!! Have you got everything sorted?

Absolutely I will let you know lots of details! Actually, this week I will be starting my planning journal (if all goes well!) as a way to organize the last of my organizing details.

I would love to share it with you girls if it helps! I could not have planned pretty much anything without former brides, especially former Cayo Levantado brides, since it is not as common a location as many.

And yes, I am SUPER excited. After a two year engagement, the next 6 weeks cannot happen fast enough! (Although, really, I still have a bit left to do!)

Yeh I'd love you to share!

Have you had to decide your wedding times & location already?

Simona has emailed me and asked we choose our time out of options: - 2:30pm, 3:00pm, 3:30pm,4:00pm - I really wanted an early one as I've heard it often rains in the afternoon in August!

And has asked that we choose our location (using pictures) but I think i'll probably change my mind once we actually see it!!

I really thought that everything was organised once we are there? Have you had the same?

Yes, to begin with she said everything was organized when we got there... or most everything was, but she sent me a form to fill in with more specific details. However, when I asked questions I was told that I can change my mind or decide on a lot of things ahead of time.

We chose the beach as our location.

I REALLY really really really hope it does not rain. I had not thought of afternoon as being a problem for that.... now I am worried. Our time is 4 pm. My logic for that was that the sand would be a little cooler by that point.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
