Im getting so frustrated with DJs!!!!!

OK first off I understand that DJs work on the weekend. That is their busy time, but Im still really frustrated with this!!

Robin is up at $:45am and gets home around 7pm Monday-Friday. Rayden goes to bed at 7pm. Because of this its impossible for us to meet with a DJ during the week. I assumed that if they wanted my business they would try and make time on a Saturday or Sunday to meet with us. Well nope, its either during the week or not at all!! Whats up with that?? I just dont get it! You cant tell me that you cant meet with me for 1 hour on a Sunday!!! I am just so frustrated because I think they just dont understand, nor care about our situation.

And the music is one REALLY important thing to Robin and this is the one thing he really wants to come to with me! Im just so frustrated and now I have to try even more companies!!

anyway to have a friend do it, I know that for us it not only saved money but a lot of headache to have someone who knew us very well

I am sorry they are being a-holes! It is a sign that they may not be able to accomidate you come time for your wedding. If you need to meet with them to go over any music you will have the same issue. I guess you have to find a bigger company who has more DJ's. Good luck!!

you are not wrong in thinking that they should make themselves available for you on the weekend...it's called good business!!!

Can you ask them what weddings they have coming up to go visit them while they are playing that way you get to know if their good? And then maybe try to do a phone call with you, your FI and them.

The thing thats weird is that these are 2 big companies in our area. The one company my sisters best friend has used a lot of times. So now Im stuck trying to find other companies.

 

A friend would be a great idea, but I dont really know anyone off the top of my head that could do this sorta thing. Maybe Ill ask around.

If you and Robin put together a solid list of songs, pick a really funny charismatic friend who is not shy, the one who is always entertaining people. Then you might have to rent some equipment.

I know quite a few of the girls have used their ipods only, so this is just one step better.

Awww this sucks! I can't believe they're not being considerate of your situation, that's horrible business skills.

 

I like the idea the girls presented of making your own songs and finding an outgoing friend to help out.

Yeah doing up your own song list and having a friend do it sounds like a nice idea if you can swing it. Hopefully you will find someone to accomodate you though! That sucks.. grrr
