    Hi All,

I'm at a loss. I would love to have centerpieces my guests can take home. Issue is glass is heavy and has the possibility of breaking.  Anyone have any alternative ideas? The resort charges an arm and a leg for flowers that non of my guests can bring back home so I would love any input.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dana

      Hi Dana

      I had the same issue

I found a square plastic jar from Loblaws, and not heavy.  the base is the lid.

      Hope these helps

Not sure what look you are going for but saveoncrafts.com has realistic plastic mint julep cups and a lot of other non glass options.

Nice job on the centerpiece.  I am looking for something other than glass too but I don't want it to look like plastic.  Thanks for the suggestions ladies.

I absolutely love the lime vase idea. That is so beautiful and also keeps with the "destination" feel for the wedding reception. I think that you could also use lemons, oranges, and grapefruits too.

Plastic centerpiece is really a nice idea and it is really looking great. I have also make a centerpiece with my own with a waste bottle. It is also looking nice. My friends also ask me to make those centerpieces for them.
