here they are step by step if anyone else wants them:

get the white pencil starfish, and glue your rhinestones on.... I would spend a little extra on the rhinestones, I bought my first ones at Michaels and AC Moore and they all turned out really cloudy, so then I spend a little more and bought actual Swarovski flat back rhinestones from here rhinestones

I made my invitations and have the template if you would like that too... send me your email address...

I bought a khaki colored cardstock, and agean blue cardstock and double matted the invites.

I bought blue vellum from Michaels and cut them in strips, then the white ribbon on top of that.

I took the starfish and used a glue dot to attach (so guests could remove them if they'd like)

I got the invitation boxes, but basket stuffing in the bottom (like this) basket filling

I then matted the rsvp with the khaki cardstock, and attached it to the top of the box with another piece of vellum....

hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions, if I wasn't clear....

*laughing* We thought about it...And it was a fleeting thought. Although Brooke and I consider ourselves as crafty, we're definitely not THAT crafty and wouldn't have had the patience to create 90 of those.

However, we would've totally paid you to do them for us! LOL!

Hi Shelley! Can you help me with the RSVP postcards? I am trying to make my own RSVP postcards and planned on making them 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so that I could get 4 out of a standard 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. Did you use that size for your postcards? If so, could you send me the template you used? I am having a ton of trouble trying to create the postcard. This should be the easiest part, but I can't seem to get it right. If you could help, that would be great!

Thanks,
Becky

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
