My FI and I decided to have a small intimate wedding in Costa Rica at El Silencio in front on a beautiful waterfall.  We are tying the knot November 30th 2010 but still have plenty to get done!  I am fairly new on here.....any advice about a destination wedding??

Hello & welcome! Cool! that is one place we have not been able to photograph at, we have had many at Punta Islita (part of El Silencio) and we have nothing but the best to say about Islita. Impeccable service and a beautiful location.

Let us know what questions you have to help.

We are also planning a costa rica wedding, but for next November.

        Happy planning.

We went to the Four Seasons in Pennisula Papagayo a few years back and it's AMAZING. There are 2 different beaches, and it's gorgeous with monkeys and iguanas just roaming around. The service is incredible and I know the def do weddings there. They would probably do anything you asked. I remember Pink, the singer, got married there a few years back. Check it out!

Agree! What a place! For us the Four Seasons is the king of retro, this is where we get to pull out the vintage cameras, 8mm, 16mm, Rolleiflex, Hawkeye Brownies, so much fun! Such top of the line service. Give yourself 15/20min more time into your photo shoot, the sun sometimes sets behind a rocky point and the light goes quicker. Here are some images of several weddings.

http://web.me.com/cr...a_&_justin.html This was a beautiful wedding, we also filmed it in 16mm motion picture.

Kisha & Jason had some medium formats of their wedding:
